Just after 2:00 a.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 2 officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Bedford Avenue for a reported stabbing.
Preliminary information indicates a physical fight broke out amongst several individuals outside. During the altercation, an adult male sustained two stab wounds to the shoulder and back.
Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS transported the male to the hospital in stable condition.
A short time later, officers took an adult female suspect into custody. Charges are expected.
The investigation is ongoing.
