Pittsburgh Police are aware of and investigating reports of approximately 8-10 yard signs that were defaced or destroyed in the Squirrel Hill area in recent days.
Plainclothes detectives are also in possession of video evidence provided to them by private citizens as well as other sources.
Police encourage victims of this type of crime to call 9-1-1 to report such incidents, as well as share any video or information they might have with police.
There are no suspects or arrests at this time, but Pittsburgh Police closely are also working with the state and federal partners and have increased patrols in the area.
