Pittsburgh, PA – After this week’s thaw resulted in potholes around the city, the Department of Public Works crews will be out for a pothole blitz to patch them on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

Beginning at 6 AM, 30 trucks will be out citywide tomorrow equipped with cold patch, a ready-to-use asphalt material that doesn’t require heat to be applied. They will be driving street routes and stopping to fill potholes as they see them.

DPW worked throughout this week to patch potholes that had been reported to 311.
