Community Outreach & Education

To help inform and care for City of Pittsburgh residents, Pittsburgh EMS has created the COPE program – Community Outreach Program and Education.

Through COPE, paramedics provide:

  • Health Screenings
  • CPR/AED Training
  • "Show and Tell" events, such as Career Day and Touch-a-Truck, at local gatherings, schools and Scout camps

For Show and Tell events, please email Assistant Chief Jennifer McDermott-Grubb at jennifer.grubb@pittsburghpa.gov with the details of your event.
