At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers from the Downtown Public Safety Center responded to Graeme Street in Downtown for a physical altercation involving a slashing.
Preliminary information indicates that two adult males became involved in a physical altercation outside when one male used brass knuckles and slashed the other across the chest. Officers already in the area quickly intervened, took the actor into custody, and rendered aid to the victim until Pittsburgh EMS arrived.
Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.
Charges are pending against the actor.
