UPDATE: PGH EMS & Police Respond to Stabbing in Arlington Heights

UPDATE: Mikalia Robinson, 29, of Pittsburgh, faces a felony charge of aggravated assault in relation to this incident.

At approximately 5:15 a.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 3 officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Arlington Avenue for a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim who was alert and conscious, suffering from stab wounds to the shoulder and wrist. The victim reported that an adult female suspect knocked on his door and initiated a verbal altercation with him. During the dispute, the suspect withdrew a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing on foot.

Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.

A short time later, the Real Time Crime Center identified the suspect near the intersection of Josephine Street and Salisbury Street. Officers responded to that area, took the suspect into custody without incident, and transported her to the Allegheny County jail.
