SVU Detectives Investigate Homicide in Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police from Zone 5 were dispatched to the 6900 block of Wiltsie Street after witnesses reported

possible gunfire in the area.

Upon arrival officers located an adult male lying outside in

the street with two gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. Witnesses report that

the male victim was subsequently struck by a vehicle. Officers provided first

aid but he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

The Allegheny Medical Examiner will determine the official cause

of death.

The Mobile Crime Unit arrived to process the scene.

The investigation is actively ongoing.
