UPDATE: Violent Crime Unit detectives have arrested Martin Lopez Hernandez, 33, of Pittsburgh in connection with this incident.
Hernandez is charged with Criminal Homicide and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Pittsburgh Police and Pittsburgh EMS responded to a residence in the 800 block of Suismon Street for a reported stabbing as the result of an apparent domestic dispute.
An adult male was found in the basement of the house suffering from multiple stab wounds. Medics pronounced him deceased on scene at 9:14 p.m.
The Mobile Crime Scene Unit and Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
The investigation is ongoing.
