CITY OF PITTSBURGH PAID SICK DAYS ACT CEREMONIAL SIGNING & PRESS EVENT

WHAT:  Ceremonial Signing & Press Event  

WHEN:  Monday, July 7, 2025, at 11 AM  

WHERE:  City-County Building (5th Floor - Outside Council Chambers), 414 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

WHY:  Pittsburgh City Council unanimously approved key updates to the Paid Sick Days Act, increasing both the accrual rate and the maximum accumulation of paid sick leave hours for nearly all workers in the City of Pittsburgh.  This ceremonial signing recognizes not only the passage of the legislation but also the collaborative implementation efforts that make it a reality.
