Adopt-A-Lot Program

This temporary land access program empowers residents to transform City-owned vacant lots into vibrant, community-serving spaces through temporary activation agreements. Vacant lot projects can provide greater access to fresh food, manage stormwater, and beautify communities.

Help-A-Lot Program

Through Help-A-Lot, residents are able to request one-day access to City-owned vacant lots for community stewardship and maintenance activities including: mowing, weeding, mulching, removing invasive species, illegal dump site clean-up, and litter clean-up.

Greenways

A permanent, passive open space that serves to benefit adjacent neighborhoods and the general public. “Reserved for greenway” was also defined as areas being studied or planned for designation.

Registered Community Organization Program

A RCO is a non-profit community organization or collaboration of community organizations that are registered with City Planning as stakeholders of a specific geographic area
