Storm Damage Assessment

To aid in the recovery from the severe storm that impacted our region on April 29, 2025, Allegheny County Emergency Services is in the process of seeking disaster loan assistance from the Small Business Administration (SBA). If accepted by the SBA, this effort would assist homeowners and business owners to cover non-insured losses with low interest loans. In order to receive a declaration from the SBA and receive loan assistance, at least 25 properties within the County must have sustained at least 40% uninsured damage. Businesses, homeowners, renters and private nonprofit organizations would be eligible to apply for low-interest disaster loans should Allegheny County meet that threshold. The City of Pittsburgh Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security will be conducting damage assessments on properties within the City limit to assist the County in this endeavor. Please complete the short survey form below if your property sustained damage during the April 29th storm. The information submitted on the form will be compiled by OEMHS staff and utilized to perform formal damage assessments which will be submitted to the County.
