Violent Crime Detectives Investigate Knoxville Shooting Incident

Just after 6:15 p.m., Zone 3 officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Suncrest Street for reports of a shooting.

Responding units located a male victim in his 30s with multiple gunshot wounds. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition. Three actors reportedly fled on foot.

Crime Scene Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene and the Drone Unit aided in the search for the actors.

There are no suspects or arrests at this time.

Violent Crime Division detectives are investigating.
