VCU Detectives Arrest One in Hill District Homicide

Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were dispatched to the 600 block of Perry Street for a three-round ShotSpotter alert at 6:53 p.m.

Responding officers located a male victim in his early 20s with at least one gunshot wound to the chest. Pittsburgh EMS transported him to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process evidence at the scene.
