Police Make Arrest in Hit-and-Run of Pedestrian on East Ohio St.

At approximately 2:45 p.m., Zone 1 officers were dispatched to the intersection of E. Ohio St. and East St. following reports of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

Medics transported a male patient to the hospital in stable condition with unknown injuries.

The driver fled on foot. He was apprehended by officers a short distance away on Tripoli Street.

The investigation is ongoing.
