At approximately 3 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6 were dispatched to the 800 block of Steuben St. following a one-round ShotSpotter notification.
While en route to the call, dispatch informed officers that a female was inside a nearby residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder blade. Medics transported her to the hospital in critical condition.
A male and a female were transported from the residence to police headquarters for questioning.
Mobile Crime Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene. Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing
