Just before 6:00 pm, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police was dispatched to the 7200 block of Frankstown Avenue for a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male inside an establishment suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg. According to surveillance video, another adult male reportedly took the victim’s gun and fled the scene on foot. The male who took the weapon later returned to the scene, where officers took him into custody. Charges are pending.
Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
