Pittsburgh Police Investigate Stabbing Incident in East Hills

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to reports of a stabbing in the 2200 block of Wilner Drive in the East Hills neighborhood.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male actor who had sustained stab wounds to his chest, back, and head.

According to the preliminary investigation, the male actor arrived on scene and began physically assaulting an adult female outside. A second adult male intervened and, in an effort to stop the assault, stabbed the male actor. The second adult male remained on scene and was cooperative with officers.

The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene.

Pittsburgh EMS transported the adult male actor to the hospital in stable condition and he is expected to face charges in connection with this incident.
