Detectives Investigate Market Square Stabbing Incident

At approximately 12:30 a.m., Zone 2 officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Forbes Avenue in Market Square following reports of an unresponsive male down on the street.

The victim suffered stab wounds to the head and lower back area. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition, though he has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Detectives from the Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene.

Police are looking for two suspects who fled the area in a dark-colored SUV.

Violent Crime Division detectives will continue with the investigation.
