Just before 4:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6, Pittsburgh Fire, and Pittsburgh EMS were dispatched to the 1400 block of Fallowfield Avenue in Beechview for reports of a male with a gunshot wound.
Arriving officers located the adult male victim on the porch of a residence with a single gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was transported by Pittsburgh EMS in stable condition to an area hospital.
At this time, no crime scene has been located and the male victim is not cooperative with officers.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
