Pittsburgh Public Safety Draft Day Three Recap

The third and final day of the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh saw rainy weather and yet still drew record crowds. Throughout the day, Public Safety personnel continued to field calls for service throughout the North Shore, Downtown, and in Point State Park. Here is the Day Three recap:

Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire:
  • 1 Fire (hot ashes from a grill)
  • 0 Hazmat calls
  • Multiple on scene first aid responses
Pittsburgh Bureau of Police:
North Side
  • There were two arrests made within the Draft footprint
  • Outside the Draft footprint, there were also two arrests made
Downtown
  • 4 arrests
  • 9 non-traffic citations
Point State Park
  • PA State Police had zero arrests
Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS:
North Shore, Downtown, and Point State Park
  • 24 calls for service
  • 5 transports
