Shortly before 6:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS, and Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire responded to the intersection of West Liberty Avenue and Cape May Avenue for a single vehicle collision. Officers observed that the truck had struck a pole. Pittsburgh EMS paramedics transported the adult male victim to a local hospital in critical condition. Accident Investigation responded to the scene and will determine what led up to the incident.
