Police Investigate Overnight Shooting, Victim Arrives at the Hospital

At approximately 2:40 a.m., a 15-year-old female arrived at a local hospital in stable condition with a graze gunshot wound to her lower left abdomen.

She told officers from Zone 5 it occurred in the 7400 block of Tioga Street at around 2 a.m. Police canvassed a large area surrounding that location for several hours and were unable to locate a crime scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
