At approximately 12:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 and Pittsburgh EMS responded to the 3100 block of Cordell Place in Arlington Heights after a witness reported a shooting.
An adult male actor reportedly withdrew a firearm during a dispute in the common hallway of an apartment building, striking the male victim twice. The actor later called 911 to identify himself and surrendered to officers upon their arrival without incident. He was taken into custody for further questioning.
Pittsburgh EMS treated the victim for gunshot wounds to the cheek and leg before transporting him to a local hospital in stable condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
