Pittsburgh Police Detectives Investigating Shooting in East Hills

At approximately 10:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 were dispatched to the 2300 block of East Hills Drive for reports of a shooting inside of a residence.

Officers arriving on the scene located an adult male victim with gunshot wounds to his back and upper left arm. The victim was consious, alert, and speaking with officers and medics. He was transported by Pittsburgh EMS in critical condition to a local hospital.

Neither the victim nor witnesses were cooperative with officers. There are no arrests at this time.

The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process evidence at the scene. Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
