Date: May 2, 2024 Incident Type: Business Robbery Location: Zone 3 Summary:
Just after 9:00 p.m. on May 1, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 were dispatched to the 800 block of East Warrington Avenue in Allentown for reports of an armed robbery at a beer distribution business.
The employee who had been working told officers that two male actors entered the store, brandished firearms, and robbed them at gun point.
The actors got away with a large sum of cash before they fled the scene on foot.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process evidence, including business and city camera footage.
Detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
