Police Arrest Male for Home Invasions in Knoxville

Summary:

At 6:45 p.m., Zone 3 officers responded to a reported burglary in progress in the 200 block of Zara Street.

A homeowner told police an unknown male made entry into his home, but he was able to push him out. The male then kicked in the door at a home in the 100 block of Charles Street. The occupant of the home scuffled with him to keep him out of the house.

The suspect then left and made his way to Knox Avenue where he flagged down officers and told them he was heavily under the influence of narcotics.

He was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Trespass and taken to the hospital for cut injuries to his hands.

Once medically cleared, he will be transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
