Pittsburgh Police Respond to Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on January 16, 2025, Pittsburgh Police and EMS responded to a vehicle and pedestrian collision at the intersection of Centre and Morewood Avenue.

An adult woman holding a child was crossing the street when they were struck by a vehicle, causing them to fall.

The female victim sustained minor injuries and the child appeared to be unharmed. She initially declined transport but EMS medics transported both to the hospital out of an abundance of caution.

The driver was cooperative and remained at the scene. At this time, no charges are anticipated.
