We are heartbroken by the tragic explosion in Clairton that occurred earlier today. Our deepest condolences go out to the loved ones of the individual who lost their life. We hold in our thoughts and prayers those who were injured, their families, and the Mon Valley community as they navigate the aftermath of this tragedy.
We stand in solidarity with the residents of Clairton and all of Allegheny County during this profoundly difficult time. As you face the days ahead, we will keep you in our hearts. Wishing strength, healing, and hope to everyone impacted. ~Mayor Ed Gainey
