Pittsburgh, PA – Today, the City of Pittsburgh launched a new website that will allow residents and visitors to find information more quickly and easily. The website has undergone a significant transformation, with improvements in aesthetics, content structure, accessibility, and usability among other things.
Visitors to the website will encounter a user-friendly navigation system, a robust search system and a service finder widget for quick access to services. The new website also includes a language translation feature to ensure accessibility for Pittsburgh’s immigrant and refugee communities.
“I would like to thank the Department of Innovation and Performance, Communication Services for their hard work and dedication in providing residents this new, service-focused platform,” said Mayor Ed Gainey. “The City of Pittsburgh website is a great way for residents to connect to the services and resources available to them, and I am pleased that they will be able to do so with ease thanks to these upgrades.”
"We have diligently worked over the past year on this large undertaking and are proud to finally launch the new City of Pittsburgh website for our resident's,” said Smyth Welton, Manager, Communication Services.
The website transformation is part of the administration’s continued work to make city services more accessible and easier to understand. To view the new website visit: https://pittsburghpa.gov
