Tax Certificates typically take 5-7 business days to complete. Once completed, the City sends the requestor the certificates via the method specified in their initial request form. The City will not send the certificate any other way than what the requestor specified in their initial request form. If the account corresponding to the tax certificate requested has a significant number of delinquencies, liens, or any discrepancies associated with it, additional delays in completing the certificate may occur. If the City experiences a high volume of certificate requests, delays in completing the certificates within the 5-7 day timeframe may also occur.
