What is the Status of My Permit?
To Find the Status of A Permit if you are the Applicant, Coapplicant, or License Holder:
If you have applied for a permit, or are the permit holder on an issued permit, the best way for you to check on the status of your permit is to:
- log into your OneStopPGH account
- navigate to the Home page (first option in the banner at the top of the screen)
- look for the permit under the Permit list of My Active Applications
If you do not immediately see your permit in that list, you can search using the Filter function at the top of the My Active Applications field on the right.
To Find the Status of A Permit if you are not the Applicant, Coapplicant, or License Holder:
If you are looking for information on a permit for which you are not the applicant or permit holder (even if it is for work on a property you own) OR if you are looking for information on a completed permit, the best way to access that information is to search using OneStopPGH Insights. This site is a record of current and historic permits, applications, enforcement actions, etc. and is searchable by address or record type.
If you have questions about what the current status of your permit means, please take a look at the Permitting Process page. If you have questions that that page doesn’t answer, please contact OneStopPGH counter staff at 412-255-2175, via the OneStopPGH chat function, or via email at pliapptech@pittsburghpa.gov
