Master & Neighborhood Plans

Master and neighborhood plans are strategies for the future of a specific neighborhood, location, or community. These include proposals for the built and natural environments and are developed in partnership with the neighborhood RCO (if applicable) while input from residents and other stakeholders inform the overall planning details.

Types of Plans

Comprehensive and City-wide plans provide a high-level vision while master and neighborhood plans focus on topics and specific implementation details related to a specific neighborhood or area. The following graphic is helpful in understanding how geographic scale informs the depth and variety of City Planning initiatives.
