At approximately 3:45 p.m., the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and EMS responded to a reported collision on West Carson Street, near Station Square.
The adult male motorcyclist was traveling eastbound, and the driver was traveling westbound on W. Carson when the driver made an illegal U-turn. The motorcyclist collided with the vehicle's right rear passenger side.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the adult male to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver remained on scene.
The driver will face a citation.
