At approximately 2:20 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 were dispatched to the 900 block of Agnew Road in the Hays neighborhood for reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old female victim suffering from multiple puncture wounds to the hands and head. Preliminary information indicates that a 14-year-old female actor attacked the victim with a pair of scissors. The actor is currently in custody with charges forthcoming.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the 15-year-old victim to the hospital in stable condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit arrived to process the scene.
Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident.
