Just before 11 p.m. on November 8, 2025, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 were dispatched to the 100 block of Rhine Place for reports of a fight.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a single stab wound to the buttocks. Pittsburgh EMS transported the male to a local hospital in stable condition.
Preliminary information indicates the injured male, along with an adult female, were arguing with another adult male in a common hallway of their apartment building about noise levels. The argument devolved into an altercation and continued inside the second male's residence, also occupied by a child and a second adult female.
While in the second couple's apartment, the first adult female produced a firearm and began threatening the second male. In response, the second adult female retrieved a knife and stabbed the first adult male in the buttocks. The stabbed male and the armed female then fled the apartment. No shots were fired.
Officers later arrested the armed female and transported her to the Allegheny County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are expected.
