At approximately 7:45 p.m., the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 5 officers responded to the 4900 block of Kincaid Street for two ShotSpotter alerts totaling 20 rounds.
When officers arrived on scene, they identified an adult male victim next to a vehicle who had sustained three gunshot wounds to the chest, arm, and leg.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition. He is now listed as stable.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene and located several shell casings.
Homicide detectives are leading an active and ongoing investigation.
