UPDATE: Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting in Sheraden

UPDATE: Pittsburgh Bureau of Police homicide detectives have made an arrest in this case.
Joel Ingram, 41, of Pittsburgh was taken into custody and faces charges of Criminal Homicide and Carrying a Firearm Without a License.
Ingram is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
Original incident details:

 

Just before 9:15 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6 responded to a two-round ShotSpotter alert at Chartiers Avenue and Municipal Street in Sheraden.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle parked on the road that had been struck by gunfire. The adult male driver sustained a single gunshot wound to the head. Although officers rendered aid until medics arrived, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. A suspect vehicle fled the area following the incident.
The Crime Scene Unit processed evidence and Violent Crime Unit detectives are securing all available video footage.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
