UPDATE #3: The co-defendant in this case, Keenan Tolliver, 32, of Pittsburgh has been arrested. He also faces charges including criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and prohibited possession of a firearm. He too remains in the Allegheny County Jail.

UPDATE #2: Daevone Brown, 30, of McKeesport has been arrested in relation to this incident. He faces charges including criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and prohibited possession of a firearm. He remains in the Allegheny County Jail.

UPDATE: The adult male victim transported in critical condition was declared deceased the morning following the incident on June 21, 2025. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner will release the victim’s identity. The investigation remains ongoing.

Just before 1:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 were dispatched to the 7000 block of Churchland Street in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood for reports of shots fired.

Arriving officers located an adult male victim in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head. Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Mobile Crime Unit responded to the scene to process all evidence, including reviewing all possible video footage from the area.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
