Police, Fire, EMS Dispatched to Critical Crash Downtown

Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS responded to the 300 block of Blvd. of the Allies downtown for a reported vehicle crash at approximately 1:45 a.m.

Responding units located one vehicle that had struck three parked vehicles. The juvenile male driver and juvenile female passenger were extricated from the vehicle. Medics transported the male in critical condition with a broken pelvis and two broken legs. The female was taken to the hospital for evaluation in stable condition.

Police retrieved a firearm from the vehicle.

The Collision Investigation Unit was called to the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
