At approximately 10:30 p.m. on August 8, 2025, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 were dispatched to the 2200 block of East Hills Drive in the East Hills neighborhood in response to a single ShotSpotter alert totaling nine rounds.
Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile female victim outside with a single gunshot wound to the left calf. Officers began first aid measures until paramedics arrived on the scene.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the female victim to the hospital in stable condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit arrived to process the scene and identified some damage to a nearby residence.
SVU detectives are actively investigating.
