Pittsburgh Police Respond to Shooting in Garfield

At approximately 12:00 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 were dispatched to North Winebiddle and Gem Way for reports of a victim with a gunshot wound.

Arriving officers located an adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound to the foot. The  victim was uncooperative with officers but the Violent Crime Unit is investigating. The Mobile Crime Unit responded to the scene and processed evidence. 

Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.
