Pittsburgh Police have made an arrest in two recent armed robberies in the Oakland and East Liberty areas of Pittsburgh.
Following a search warrant of a residence in the 500 block of Lowell Street, Nathaniel Weatherspoon, 32, was taken into custody by the Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Violent Crimes Unit, Violence Prevention Unit, and PBP officers from Zones 1 and 5. Allegheny County Police and the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force assisted with the arrest.
Weatherspoon, 32, faces multiple charges, including Robbery, Receiving Stolen Property, Criminal Conspiracy and vehicle code violations.
He was also wanted on a Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole Violation.
Weatherspoon was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
