UPDATE: Police Investigate Aggravated Assault in Homewood

UPDATE: Police arrested Tory Bryant, 37, of Pittsburgh in connection with this incident. Bryant is charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Persons Not to Possess, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Criminal Mischief, and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended. He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.

Original Incident Details:

Just after 5 p.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to a seven-round ShotSpotter notification in the 500 block of N. Homewood Ave.

A male in his early 30s was located a short time later in the 900 block of N. Murtland Street with a gunshot wound to the forearm.

Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.

Crime Scene Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene and the Violent Crime Unit will continue with the investigation.
