UPDATE: Micaiah Wheeler, 17, of Forest Hills has been arrested and charged with a number of offenses including criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, and carrying a firearm without license. He remains in the Allegheny County Jail.

Just after 8:00 a.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to the 3900 block of Baytree Street in the vicinity of Perry Traditional Academy for an eleven-round ShotSpotter alert.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a juvenile male was the target of the shots fired.
No injuries were reported. However, there was bullet damage to the school, including two broken windows and some damage to the brick work.
Cameras in the area are actively being reviewed to make a positive ID on the suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
