Just before 3:30 p.m., a female told Zone 5 officers that her boyfriend shot at her while she was inside her vehicle in the area of Upland Street and Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle sustained damage, as well as a house that was also struck by gunfire in the 6900 block of Mt. Vernon Street.
No one was injured.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed both the vehicle and the residence. Officers are in the process of applying for a warrant for the suspect.
