At 6:15 p.m., Zone 6 officers were dispatched to 1821 Broadhead Fording Road for reports of 6-7 shots fired inside a venue where a baby shower was taking place.
Responding units located two victims with gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced one male deceased at the scene. A second male was transported in critical condition. A third victim was located a short time later at a residence on Glen Mawr Street. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Mobile Crime Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene. Violent Crime Unit detectives will access all available video to aid in their investigation, which is ongoing.
