CITY OFFICES AND FACILITIES CLOSED FOR MEMORIAL DAY – REFUSE COLLECTION DELAYED

Pittsburgh, PA – In observance of Memorial Day, all City of Pittsburgh offices and select CitiParks facilities will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. Additionally, residents should be aware that refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day throughout the week.  

Refuse Collection Schedule: 

  • Monday, May 26 will be serviced Tuesday, May 27 

  • Tuesday, May 27 will be serviced Wednesday, May 28 

  • Wednesday, May 28 will be serviced Thursday, May 29 

  • Thursday, May 29 will be serviced Friday, May 30 

  • Friday, May 30 will be serviced Saturday, May 31

The following CitiParks facilities will be impacted from Friday, May 23 through Memorial Day, Monday, May 26

HEALTHY ACTIVE LIVING CENTERS  

  • CLOSED -- Monday, 26, 2025 

  • Regular schedule resumes on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 

RECREATION CENTERS  

  • CLOSED -- Saturday, May 24, and Monday, May 26, 2025   

  • Regular schedule resumes on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 

MELLON PARK TENNIS CENTER 

  • CLOSED -- Monday, May 26, 2025 

SCHENLEY PARK RINK—Roller Skating 

  • CLOSED -- Monday, May 26, 2025 

FARMERS MARKETS 

  • The Squirrel Hill Farmers Market is OPEN Sunday, May 25, 2025--9 AM to 1 PM
