CITY OF PITTSBURGH TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE NOBLES LANE & ARLINGTON AVENUE FOR VEGETATION CLEAN UP ON AUGUST 23RD

Pittsburgh, PA -- The City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works will temporarily close portions of Nobles Lane and Arlington Avenue on Saturday, August 23, from 7AM to 1PM, to conduct critical roadside vegetation cleanup.

This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to maintain safe and accessible roadways by addressing overgrown vegetation that may obstruct visibility or hinder pedestrian access.

Closures will include:

  • Nobles Lane, from Brownsville Road to Corlain Street
  • Arlington Avenue, from Warrington Avenue to McArdle Roadway

Flaggers will be on-site to maintain traffic flow and allow continued access for traffic and Pittsburgh Regional Transit vehicles along Arlington Avenue.
