MEDIA ADVISORY: Pittsburgh Public Safety to Discuss 2026 NFL Draft Preparations
Who: Public Safety Director Sheldon Williams, Assistant Public Safety Director (OCHS) Laura Drogowski, Pittsburgh Police Chief of Staff Anthony Palermo, Assistant EMS Chief Jen McDermott-Grubb, Assistant Fire Chief Mat Davis, and Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator Adam Ameel
What: The Department of Public Safety is holding a press conference to discuss the department’s planning and preparation efforts for the 2026 NFL Draft. While the line-up of speakers is comprised of Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, we will be joined by a number of planning partners including the FBI, ATF, Allegheny County Police Department, Allegheny County Emergency Services, DCNR, and Pennsylvania State Police.
The media is strongly encouraged to attend, and bring their questions, as this will be the only opportunity at which the department will be publicly speaking at length on this topic.
