UPDATE: VCU Detectives Investigate Homicide in Crafton Heights

UPDATE: Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Robbery/Homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Isreal Moseby in connection with this incident.
Moseby,19, is charged with Criminal Homicide, Persons not to Possess a Firearm , and Carrying a Firearm without a License.
He is currently being held in the ACJ on unrelated charges.

Pittsburgh Police officers from Zone 6 were dispatched for a two-round ShotSpotter notification in the 1400 block of Chartiers Ave. at 4:27 a.m.
When units arrived on scene they located a female with gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Medics transported her to the hospital in critical condition where she was pronounced deceased at 5:05 a.m.
Crime Scene Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene and the Violent Crime Unit is handling the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
